Hepburn Shagreen Anthracite with Bone (SIZE 5″x7″) Frame is handcrafted with bone edging. It has a solid wood back. It is covered in a luxurious black faux suede. The frame can be used either landscape or portrait. It is available in the following colours: Calico, China Blue, Anthracite, Midnight Blue, and Grey.
Handmade with the finest shagreen with a choice of either bone or ebony edging.

Shagreen is a truly exotic, richly textured, strong material which has been used for centuries as a decorative surface. And for the last century shagreen has been used to add a touch of luxury to interiors. Embraced by the Art Deco movement in the 1920s and 1930s, Shagreen was used for interior panelling, furniture and accessories and barware and Photograph Frames.

Shagreen does not require any special cleaning. Please avoid contact with anything wet or oily, or any cleaning agent. Please protect shagreen from extensive sun exposure, which will cause the colour to fade and skin may contract. Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures. You only need to lightly dust with a soft cloth and the item will remain an object of beauty.
