Our mother of pearl comes from pearl farms where the shells have reached the end of their natural lives in pearl production. All of our mother of pearl shells are natural and consequently can vary slightly in size and weight, the following are approximate sizes.

All Objet Luxe shells and items made of shell mosaic are given a final production coat of lacquer which will protect it for a very long time. We recommend a gently dusting to care for all shell products. Be careful not to scratch the shell surface and do not use chemicals or abrasive cleaning agents.
