Polka Tray Shagreen Grey
The Polka collection combines materials in a fun and playful manner. This tray is handmade using grey shagreen with polka dots created from black lipped mother of pearl, black agate, abalone to name a few. And skilfully edged in ebony to finish.
This luxurious and exotic material is most closely associated with the Art Deco period, when interior decorators such as Jean Michel Frank and Clement Rousseau use stingray skins to decorate furniture, lighting and create amazing wall panelling.
